Engineering Technician 6
Location: Overland Park, KS (Hybrid)
Job Responsibilities:
Function as a senior lead engineering technician, modifying or creating deliverables and performing design assignments.
Provide technical guidance and direction to other engineering professionals.
Ensure deliverables are in compliance with the specific codes and standards suitable for the project.
Perform design calculations, detailed material quantities and estimates, and records.
Use advanced applications (e.g., modeling and design software) in performance of work.
Coordinate with other design group personnel to review and exchange project information necessary for design development.
Skills Required:
Advanced ability to model equipment for layouts and coordinate across disciplines.
Experience with circuit routing QAs.
Advanced knowledge of sizing of raceways, conduits, and cable tray.
Advanced ability to layout duct banks, cable tray, non-seg bus, cable bus, and embedded conduits.
Ability to prepare Bluebeam markups for team delegation.
Proficiency in CADD, other electronic applications, information modeling, and document storage systems.
