Development Manager

Your new company Hays Property have partnered with a successful New Jersey-based owner who are looking to hire a Development Manager to lead all phases of the development process across a pipeline of new-build construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced real estate professionals looking to play a pivotal role in the continued growth of a national portfolio. Your new role As the Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of multiple real estate projects at various stages of the development process. Overseeing a diverse onsite team, you will manage items relating to permitting, design, construction, and leasing, before handing off to the internal asset management team. Duties will include conducting feasibility analysis, supporting the acquisition of new sites, permitting, scheduling, creating and maintaining development budgets, and oversight of a variety of third-party consultants. Properties include Industrial, Life-Science, Retail, Office, Multifamily, and Land Development across the Northeast and Southeast States. What you'll need to succeed A Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Engineering, or Design required. A Master's in Business Administration is preferred. 10+ years' experience in real estate development. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead a team and work collaboratively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience reviewing and implementing business plans. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
