Forklift Operator

Forklift Operator Job Description We are seeking an experienced forklift operator to join our team for the 2nd shift. In this role, you will operate a propane-powered forklift to efficiently move materials around the plant and load trailers. You will conduct basic maintenance on the forklift, including checking oil levels and performing safety checks. Responsibilities also include general housekeeping and documentation of work, along with additional material handling duties such as order picking, shipping, and receiving as assigned. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read, write, and understand English. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in material handling. Ability to work in a large warehouse environment. Familiarity with handling cardboard and other packaging materials. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a large warehouse environment with multiple forklifts operating at all times. The position requires wearing a high visibility vest and steel-toed shoes. The work hours are from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Biddeford, Maine. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
