Heavy Equipment Operator - Civil Services

Position Overview Beitzel Corporation is currently seeking full-time, experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our Civil Services team. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic who take pride in operating heavy machinery safely and efficiently in demanding field environments. Candidates must have experience operating at least one of the following types of equipment: a dozer, excavator, or front-end loader. The position involves working on a wide range of industrial and construction projects, including but not limited to those in the construction, oil and gas, manufacturing, power generation, solar and wind energy, and aggregate industries. This role requires extensive overnight and out-of-town travel, and operators must be prepared to work away from home for extended periods. A flexible schedule is essential, as shifts may include long hours, weekends, holidays, and occasional night work, depending on project needs. As part of a field crew, the Heavy Equipment Operator will assist with site preparation, excavation, trenching, grading, and other civil construction activities under the direction of a Foreman or Supervisor. Operators are expected to maintain a strong focus on safety, equipment maintenance, and teamwork, while delivering high-quality results that meet Beitzel Corporation's standards.
