Equipment Mechanic**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a traveling equipment maintenance mechanic to maintain and repair a variety of equipment used in the concrete industry. The role involves maintaining trailers and trucks, with a preference for candidates who have DOT certification, though it is not mandatory.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment such as mini excavators, skid loaders, power trowels, and dump trucks.

+ Manage and conduct trailer lights and wiring maintenance.

+ Conduct welding, oil changes, and tire repairs.

+ Coordinate with Project Managers, Estimators, and Operations teams.

+ Plan and manage daily labor, materials, and equipment needs.

+ Handle equipment repair tasks for projects pertaining to highway heavy concrete work, including small concrete paving projects, curb and gutter, and ADA improvements.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience in construction and equipment repair.

+ Proficiency in preventive maintenance and field maintenance.

+ Ability to perform welding, electrical wiring, and lighting repairs.

+ Skill in trailer repair and mechanic work.

+ Capability to travel and maintain a clean driving record.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ DOT certification is preferred but not required.

+ Experience coordinating with various project and operations teams.
