Maintenance Supervisor (Final Assembly) Department Job Description As a Maintenance Supervisor in the Final Assembly Department, you will lead and manage a team of skilled trades employees, including electricians, pipefitters, and millwrights, within a bustling plant environment. Your role will involve overseeing 20-45 employees, assigning preventive maintenance tasks, generating reports, responding to breakdowns, and ensuring the right personnel are assigned to effectively resolve issues. Responsibilities Oversee a team of skilled trades employees in the final assembly area. Manage preventive maintenance schedules and assignments. Generate and analyze maintenance reports to improve efficiency. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and assign appropriate personnel. Ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks. Facilitate quick decision-making in a fast-paced environment. Essential Skills Experience in supervising skilled trades within a union environment. Strong technical knowledge in Robotics, PLCs, and equipment. Background in automotive or manufacturing industries. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in PLCs and Robotics (Fanuc).
