Job Description
Design, develop, and transition electrical engineering hardware for high-technology electro-optic products from concept to production in defense and aerospace environments.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience developing electrical hardware in defense, aerospace, or medical industries
Experience with SOPs, process control, and work output standardization
Proficiency in ECAD software: Siemens, Cadence OrCAD Capture CIS, Allegro
Experience with PSPICE circuit simulation
Demonstrated ability to design analog and digital electronic circuits
Preferred Skills:
Experience with high reliability analog and digital electronics
Background in power supply, power conversion, sensor front ends, ADC/DAC, microcontrollers, and FPGAs
Understanding of EMI/EMC design practices and MIL-STD environmental requirements
Knowledge of PCB layout and mixed-signal circuitry for electro-optical applications
Experience designing for manufacturability, size/weight constraints, and harsh environments
Strong hands-on lab testing and debugging using oscilloscopes, logic/spectrum analyzers
Job Responsibilities:
Support electrical design and product development teams in creating and testing new products
Design electronic modules, rigid/flex PCBAs, and interconnect systems
Conduct analysis and simulation of circuits and systems
Develop and document detailed electrical designs and lead design reviews
Create production test equipment and validate against requirements
Support EMC testing, data collection, and performance evaluation
Transition prototype designs into production-ready solutions
Troubleshoot and sustain qualified electrical designs in production
Participate in root cause and corrective action investigations
Generate and process engineering change orders (ECOs)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet design and production goals
Pay Details: $47.00 to $63.00 per hour
