Koch Specialty Plant Services (KSPS) is looking to add an On-Site Construction Project Manager to their team. In this role, the On-site Construction Project Manager will oversee all aspects of projects, both small and large. This includes setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, tracking financials, monitoring, and summarizing the progress of projects and making sure they are completed on time and within budget. This role will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.

What You Will Do

  • Team Collaboration (On-Site): Work closely with the customer's planning team to develop job plans and step-outs. Assist with job walks, scheduling reviews, and ordering materials or equipment. Coordinate logistics for temporary facilities, tool rooms, and resources. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and third parties to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective project completion.
  • Project Management: Define project scope, goals, and objectives with input from all stakeholders. Create detailed project plans to track progress and ensure projects stay on schedule, within scope, and on budget. Manage changes to project scope, timeline, or costs effectively. Monitor performance to achieve both short-term and long-term goals while meeting budget requirements.
  • Technical Oversight: Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure work meets client expectations. Ensure equipment and installations meet design requirements and quality standards.
  • Safety & Compliance: Actively participate in the SafeStart program and promote safety awareness across teams. Ensure compliance with all safety documentation, forms, and processes. Provide leadership on-site by attending update meetings, safety walks, and toolbox talks. Encourage and guide crews in safety practices, including active participation in JSAs (Job Safety Analysis).
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation. Support other site managers with project documentation and communication when needed.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 5+ years of Project Management or Construction Management experience
  • Experience in a refinery or petrochemical facility
  • Experience with project estimates, schedules, budgets, and forecasting
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and report to the site with the customer for the duration of the project
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Field experience in managing Owner/Operator budgets and schedules
  • Experience in utilizing MS Office & MS Projects
  • Field Experience working in capital projects and turnaround environments
