Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Facility Supervisor. The position will be based at our facility in Hodges, SC, will oversee and support the Facilities department in day-to-day operations and special projects. We are offering relocation assistance for the position.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Maintenance Staff: Oversee staff responsible for installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management.
  • Work Order Management: Track work orders and ensure tasks are completed according to established service and quality standards.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Schedule and supervise preventative maintenance, painting, or carpentry projects.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment that complies with regulations and laws.
  • Contractor Coordination: Coordinate work to be completed by contractors and skilled trades.
  • Employee Relations: Manage and ensure effective employee/labor relations, providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Operational Efficiency: Prepare operating statistics and cost control data for maintenance and repair work.
  • Financial Analysis: Lead and support analysis in actuals, forecasts, strategic planning, and profit planning for strategic projects led by the Facilities function.
  • Budget Management: Facilitate and track the budget and actuals for the facilities department and capital projects.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior management, and executives to develop financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.
  • Project Management: Assist with day-to-day project management tasks, including supporting the project manager and hands-on support to others in the project scope.
  • Purchasing Activities: Facilitate timely and accurate purchasing activities for the Facilities team.
  • Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain positive working relationships with external vendors related to Facilities and related capital projects.
  • Cost Tracking: Identify, submit, and track cost-out projects.
  • Post-Implementation Reviews: Conduct post-implementation reviews of capital projects and cost-out projects to ensure financial success.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum five (5) years of manufacturing experience
  • Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint, strong written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented, analytical, and accurate.
  • Comfort and familiarity with a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous work environment.
  • Passion for change and process improvement.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret and relate financial data into key insights, drivers, and commentary.
  • Ability to manage time and responsibilities effectively.
