TIG Welder

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder with experience in stainless steel welding, preferably in sanitary welding applications (e.g., food-grade). The ideal candidate will work from blueprints, follow specifications, and perform high-quality TIG.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel parts and assemblies, with a focus on sanitary weld standards (clean, smooth, crevice-free welds)
• Use jigs, fixtures, and assembly drawings to ensure proper fit and finish
• Locate and position welds using TIG welding equipment as per blueprints and work orders
• Adjust welding equipment to the appropriate settings (amperage, gas flow, etc.)
• Inspect finished welds for accuracy, cleanliness, and structural integrity
• Use hand tools including grinders, drills, and measuring instruments to finish and verify work
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary standards in work area, including post-weld cleaning of joints
• Collaborate with team members and support other departments as needed

Qualifications/Essential Functions:

• TIG welding experience required; sanitary welding experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stand, and perform repetitive tasks
• Team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Willingness to assist other departments as directed.
