- Perform assignments requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks.
- Work under the supervision of a project manager or lead team member.
- Perform sub-professional engineering tasks such as fieldwork, inspections, engineering reports, permits, construction engineering, and simple design calculations.
- Coordinate with contractors.
- Review construction drawings and specifications.
- Contact government officials for permits.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 0-3+ years of Civil Engineering experience within Water/Wastewater, Transportation, Site Development, or Stormwater/Drainage.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 (to be verified via transcripts).
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Knowledge of drainage, civil design, grading, and stormwater management.
- Graduate degree in Civil Engineering (preferred).
- Passed FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam (preferred).
- 1+ year of water/wastewater design engineering experience can substitute for GPA requirement below 3.2.
The office environment is laid-back but can be deadline-intensive at times. The team emphasizes a strong, family-like atmosphere and collaboration. Standard office hours are 8-5, with flexible options to start between 7-9 AM. There are occasional opportunities to work a modified schedule (Monday-Thursday: 9 hours, Friday: 4 hours). The dress code is business casual. Engineers will have a mix of office and fieldwork, providing a well-rounded start to their career.
