Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented OSP Construction Coordinator to support field operations in the Elkins, WV area. This is a field-based role focused on conducting pre- and post-construction site surveys for a variety of outside plant (OSP) telecommunications projects. The coordinator will ensure construction quality, compliance, and vendor accountability across HFC coax and fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) deployments.
The client is currently implementing a mid-split upgrade, so candidates with a strong understanding of HFC networks, node splits, and broadband infrastructure are highly preferred. Experience with cost estimating is also a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct pre- and post-construction site surveys to assess conditions, verify designs, and ensure build quality.
+ Coordinate and oversee OSP construction activities from planning through completion.
+ Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
+ Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to develop and maintain project schedules.
+ Perform quality control (QC) checks on HFC coax and FTTH installations.
+ Manage and evaluate vendor performance for both OSP and ISP-related work.
+ Maintain accurate field documentation, including survey notes, photos, and reports.
+ Provide regular updates to management and clients on project status.
+ Assist with cost estimates and budget evaluations for upcoming and ongoing projects.
+ Ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Qualifications:
+ Strong knowledge of OSP construction practices, standards, and regulations.
+ Field experience with HFC coax, FTTH, and node split projects.
+ Familiarity with mid-split upgrades is highly desirable.
+ Experience with cost estimating and budget planning.
+ Solid understanding of broadband infrastructure and CATV systems.
+ Ability to conduct thorough site surveys and interpret construction plans.
+ Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools.
+ Valid drivers license and willingness to travel daily to job sites.
+ Experience in the broadband or telecommunications industry is a major plus.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
