Painter

Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a Painter to join their team. As a Painter, you will be part of the production team supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: COMMERCIAL painter

Location: Cape Girardeau, MO

Pay Rate: $17 per hour

What's the Job?
You will be painting LARGE metal storage tanks using air pressured spray paint and equipment. MUST have prior experience

• Perform sandblasting and coating removal in an industrial environment.
• Utilize and maintain power tools such as grinders, sanders, and sand blasters.
• Prepare surfaces by taping and masking off areas as needed.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed while working with tools and materials.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

What's Needed?

• Experience working in an industrial environment is required.
• Proficiency in the use and maintenance of power tools.
• Must possess a basic tool bag including a crescent wrench, allen wrenches, screwdrivers, and a hammer.
• Ability to tape and mask off areas accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
