Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead field crews on utility and industrial projects in the Meridian, ID area. This role requires a strong leader who can manage teams, uphold safety and quality standards, and deliver projects on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in electrical construction and thrives in a fast-paced, field-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of electrical crews on-site
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
• Plan, organize, and schedule work to meet deadlines and project goals
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Communicate with project managers, clients, inspectors, and subcontractors
• Monitor job progress and maintain daily logs and reports
• Ensure quality control and adherence to the project scope
• Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of crew members
• Order materials and coordinate equipment needs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Idaho)
• Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes
• Experience in utility, industrial, or commercial electrical projects
• Ability to lead and motivate teams in dynamic jobsite conditions
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical documents
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Preferred Skills

• Experience with design-build or EPC projects
• Familiarity with underground and overhead utility work
• CPR/First Aid and OSHA 30 certifications
