JOB REQUIREMENTS: Seeking individuals for Electrical and Mechanical
Field Service Technicians to work for one of the leading full-service
providers of advanced metal stamping, production and automation systems
in the manufacturing industry. We are seeking self-motivated and highly
organized Service Techs with excellent communication skills to add to
the Service Team. Our prestigious customer base requires a widely
diverse and extremely mobile service team to keep their systems running
at peak efficiency. The primary job is to service, troubleshoot,
maintain and install metal stamping and forming equipment in our
customers\' facilities Based in WI MS, Midwest, Mexico small, most
Midwest) We are looking for applicants with a high degree of personal
accountability and team players, with a can-do positive attitude.
Ability to think outside of the box and come up with solutions to repair
the equipment to our company standards is a plus. We are a fast-growing
company with immense potential for advancement and extended training to
enhance your current skills. Position Summary: This is a travel-heavy,
hands-on mechanical and electrical repair role supporting metal stamping
and forming equipment at customer sites across the Midwest and beyond.
You\'ll be the face of the company while providing expert-level service,
repairs, teardowns, and installations in a two-person team.We will train
you, provide your tools, gear, truck and trailerand treat you like
family. Summary: Ability to travel Monday through Friday with some over
the weekend work as well. Three to four 2-week stints annually. Most
weekends home. Technicians travel as 2-person crews and would leave
TCR\'s main office on Monday and work throughout the week, usually
10-hour days. If the job can be completed in a 1-week timeframe, then
the crew will travel home on Friday and be home for the weekend.
Sometimes there are slight overruns due to assembly or teardown issues
and the days length can vary from 8-hour to 12-hour days occasionally.
Average weeks will range from 40-50 hours per week. We will pay for
separate hotel rooms for traveling technicians. We will provide the
traveling technicians with the following items: Laptop computer for
completion of paperwork as needed (i.e. work orders, timesheets, other
paperwork as the job calls for at times) All uniforms and boots. Company
issued cell phones. (Possible upcoming policy change.) All PPE required
for the job (i.e. fall arrest equipment, harnesses, safety vests, safety
glasses, arc flash gear, LOTO equipment, etc.) All necessary tools to
complete the repair jobs. We supply a a 20 ft gooseneck trailer full of
hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment for industrial repair.
This is pulled with a 3/4-ton pickup truck which is also provided.
Employees must be able to drive the truck and trailer combination as
needed. Training is available in-house for this if the employee is not
trained. Weekly Work Structure: Travel MondayFriday; 34 two-week travel
stints per year 75% of trips are 23-day overnights, most weekends at
home Average 4050 hours/week; 812-hour days depending on job 8590%
travel; time in shop usually Mondays and Fridays All hotel stays are
single-occupancy and paid by company. \$55/day per diem while traveling
(half if less than 4 hours) Job Duties: Troubleshoot, repair, install,
and maintain mechanical and electrical systems Perform teardowns and
rebuilds of metal forming machinery Read and interpret electrical,
mechanical, and pneumatic drawings Use precision measurement tools
(calipers, micrometers, etc.) Apply proper rigging, lifting, and
alignment techniques Communicate job status and issues to leadership and
customer reps \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: High
School Diploma or GED Valid driver\'s license and clean MVR for 3+ years
Pass DOT physical and obtain Fed Med card (Company covers cost)
Experience in mechanical repair, industrial m intenance, or
millwrighting Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, basic
electronics, and wiring Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and operate equipment
like scissor lifts, forklifts, and booms Proficiency with Microsoft
Office 365 and mobile-based documentation Preferred (but not required):
Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or similar OSHA 10
Certification Forklift/scissor lift operator certification Experience in
rigging and fabrication Candidate Profile: Self-starter with strong
personal accountability Team player who communicates well and works
safely Ability to think critically and adapt on the job Comfortable with
road life and focused despite personal distractions Takes pride in clean
workspaces and tool upkeep Able to represent us professionally on-site
