Responsible for various tasks in the Facilities which includes the repair, Installation of equipment, repair & keep up with the building & grounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must have electrical experience with 120/277/480V electricity.
Ability to replace light fixtures, wiring/replacing outlets.
Experience in Painting, Drywall repair, Tile floor repair, Wall tile, Grouting.
Knowledge of LOTO.
Ability to work independently at times along with the ability to work within a group.
HVAC experience for MAU/RTU/AHU units is a plus.
Experience with repairing Man doors, lock sets, door closures, door seals.
Ability to work in a Food Manufacturing plant that expects the highest level of Safety and Food Safety.
Ability to complete assigned work orders in a safe and timely manner.
Experience in plumbing of PVC, Pro-press, copper and stainless.
Installation of faucets, bathroom fixtures, toilet repairs, sink replacement.
Ability to work at elevated heights in a Scissor lift, Boom lift or off of a step ladder.
Ability to read directions and follow instruction to assemble carts, cabinets, shelving, tables and install upon completion when needed.
Furniture moving and ability to flex schedule due to planned or scheduled work.
Knowledge on the boilers is desirable but not required.
Education & Experience:
GED or High School Diploma.
Prior experience in facilities & utilities.
Basic Computer Skills to pull & enter Work Orders.
Operate a variety of tools and equipment; perform general plant cleaning and grounds maintenance.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with external entities (equipment vendors, contractors, etc.)
Attend various tasks involving responsibility for the food safety and quality of company products.
Time of hire - $33.23/hr.
6 months - $34.01/hr.
12 months - $34.82/hr.
