Production Laborer

Production Laborer Job Description We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Production Laborers to join our team in a fast-paced and physically demanding role. You will be responsible for hand stacking, grinding, and processing concrete blocks, ensuring quality control, and assisting with maintenance tasks. Responsibilities Hand stack concrete blocks in a fast-paced environment. Grind concrete blocks to achieve a polished finish and smooth texture. Feed blocks onto a conveyor for an antique look, then manually offload and stack them onto pallets. Perform quality inspection to ensure blocks are free from chips or cracks. Discard defective products in the scrap bin and assist with palletizing and wrapping. Change molds and colors and perform general cleaning duties. Fill bags with dirt or sand, tie, and stack on pallets. Monitor production quotas and work efficiently to meet daily targets. Assist with lockout and tag out procedures under supervision. Essential Skills General production experience. Mechanical aptitude and maintenance skills. Safety mindset and familiarity with lockout/tag out procedures. Experience in manufacturing and construction. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in farming, farm work, or landscaping. Forklift experience is advantageous. Ability to work in a repetitive and monotonous environment. Experience in physical labor is preferred. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a small shop with 4-5 employees, experiencing seasonal temperature variations. This pre-mix concrete plant can be dusty, and messy but offers a dynamic and supportive team environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane Valley, Washington. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
