Crane Operator

Crane Operator Job Description We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating overhead cranes, industrial forklifts, excavators, and front-end loaders for material movement. This role includes loading and unloading of barges, rail cars, and flatbed trucks, as well as staging lumber, steel bars, iron plates, and pallets in the warehouse. General labor duties will be required as needed. Responsibilities Operate overhead cranes, industrial forklifts, excavators, and front-end loaders to move materials. Load and unload barges, rail cars, and flatbed trucks. Stage lumber, steel bars, iron plates, and pallets in the warehouse. Perform general labor duties as needed. Essential Skills Overhead crane operation Industrial forklift operation up to 90,000 lbs Ability to work outside in various weather conditions Additional Skills & Qualifications Skid steer experience Front-end loader experience TWIC card required Why Work Here? The work schedule is from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM every day, with a weekly schedule provided. Typically, you will work around 2 weeks on and 1 week off. This position is based out of New Orleans, Louisiana, and is a Contract to Hire role. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Orleans, Louisiana. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
