Mead & Hunt is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our A&BE team as a Mechanical Engineer in our Madison, WI; Milwaukee, WI; Denver, CO; San Diego, CA; or Tampa, FL offices.
Responsibilities include:
Using 3D BIM software for design, coordination and plan development of mechanical piping and air systems
Preparing reports and studies related to mechanical systems
Selecting, specifying and estimating costs of mechanical equipment
Performing load calculations and/or energy analysis
Conducting periodic construction site inspections
Travel and entrance onto military bases and airports will be required for this position
The successful candidate will have:
A bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering
At least four years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
A PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
Leading mechanical design of building projects
Designing supply, return, and exhaust systems
Performing load calculations and/or energy modeling
Revit
Designing plumbing systems
