What You'll Do As a Structural Design Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our most exciting projectsengineering systems that bring vision to life. In this role, you will: Design and analyze steel structures such as frames, trusses, towers, and large-scale buildings using RISA 2D . Develop structural solutions for wood-framed buildings , including footings, beams, and framing layouts using Enercalc . Produce detailed construction documentsdrawings, calculations, and specificationsthat meet or exceed industry standards. Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to coordinate cohesive and efficient structural systems. Conduct structural reviews, oversee submittals, and assist in construction administration with occasional site visits when needed. Perform rigorous code compliance checks and ensure all designs follow AISC, ASCE, IBC , and related structural codes. Provide timely support during the construction phase by answering RFIs and reviewing field conditions. Stay on the cutting edge of engineering technology and code developments to ensure design excellence across all projects. Qualifications We're Looking For Education : Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master's degree . Experience : Minimum of 5 years of hands-on structural design experience, with a strong portfolio in steel and wood structures . Software Expertise : Proficiency in RISA 2D and Enercalc is required. Familiarity with AutoCAD , Revit , or similar design software is a plus. Strong foundation in structural mechanics, load analysis, and code-based design. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Why Work at Luxus Build?
