Equipment Operator

Waste Connections of Arkansas is looking for an Heavy Equipment Operator / Class A Licensed Driver to join our team at the landfill in Cherokee Village, AR . In this position, you'll operate heavy equipment, move dirt and haul leachate What You'll Be Doing: You'll play a key role in keeping our landfill running smoothly, safely, and efficiently: Safely operating heavy equipment like trackhoes, compactors, off-road dump trucks, and tractors Acting as a spotter to help trucks move in and out safely Keeping the worksite clean and clear of hazards Pulling and compacting trash to keep things organized Hauling dirt materials, and leachate as needed Performing daily safety checks and basic maintenance on your equipment (oil, tires, fluids) Always watching out for your team and working with a safety-first mindset Pitching in on other site duties as needed This is a physically demanding position and does require working in all weather conditions. Schedule & Pay: Monday-Friday , with occasional Saturdays 6:00 AM - 5:30 PM $19 - $21/hour , depending on experience What We're Looking For: Class A CDL Required, Tanker endorsement (will help get it if you do not have it) Experience with Dozers, Trackhoes , or other heavy equipment A strong focus on safety Clean driving record Comfortable using basic computer tools (Word, Excel) Why Work With Us?
