Maintenance Supervisor $76,000 - $83,000| Plainfield, IN Job Description The Maintenance Supervisor supports the Operations team by working in a safe, customer-focused manner and must be highly self-motivated and customer-centric. This role involves managing daily maintenance and troubleshooting of all conveyor systems, both electrical and mechanical, and overseeing maintenance operations by tracking work hours, maintaining work orders, and managing material purchases for maintenance and project work. The Supervisor also supports management with maintenance needs and reports as needed, drives performance of preventive and corrective maintenance for assigned buildings, and develops innovative solutions to challenging problems. Leading multiple projects and daily activities, the Supervisor ensures deadlines are met, deploys and monitors preventative maintenance programs, audits technicians, and facilitates technical and safety training. Responsibilities Manage daily maintenance and troubleshooting of conveyor systems, electrical and mechanical. Audit and deploy training plans for maintenance personnel and technicians. Oversee maintenance operations by tracking work hours, maintaining work orders, and managing material purchases. Support management with maintenance needs and reports. Drive performance of preventive and corrective maintenance for assigned buildings. Develop and design innovative solutions to difficult problems. Lead multiple projects and daily activities, ensuring deadlines are met. Deploy and monitor preventative maintenance programs, audit technicians, and ensure downtime is scheduled. Analyze, diagnose, and recommend corrections for equipment problems and breakdowns. Facilitate technical and safety training and help develop professional development of departmental facilities associates. Ensure all safety procedures are observed, including lock out/tag out procedures. Provide specific, enriched feedback to enhance individual performance and conduct written performance appraisals. Essential Skills Experience managing maintenance supervision with a team of 2-5 technicians. 3-5 years of Maintenance Technician experience. Skills in electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, repair, industrial maintenance repair, and industrial maintenance. Experience with automated handling systems, including various electrical and mechanical control systems. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to troubleshoot complex control systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in managing a maintenance department using a CMMS system. Experience with troubleshooting and repairing conveyor systems. Why Work Here?
