Mead & Hunt, an award-winning national architecture and engineering firm, has continued to exceed our strategic growth initiatives creating opportunity for our current and prospective team members. As a result, a full-time position is available for an architect at either our Middleton, WI (greater Madison area) or Milwaukee, WI offices. This position would lead project teams focused on delivering architectural services for federal defense and/or laboratory projects.

Responsibilities include:

Coordinating multi-disciplinary in-house and sub-consultant team members

Working closely with clients and contractor/developer design/build partners

Assisting the Project Architect with coordinating and leading project teams

Building and maintaining strong team relationships

Executing project workplans

Scheduling and facilitating team meetings

Developing and delivering presentations to clients, partners, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).

A valid driver's license is required. As a national practice, this position is expected to travel up to 25%.

The successful candidate must have all the following:

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in architecture from an accredited college or university

At least 7 years of relevant experience

Current architectural license in the state office is located

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:

Experience preparing deliverables for each stage of project development for federal defense or laboratory facilities

Experience providing bidding and construction administration phase services for federal defense or laboratory facilities

LEED AP, WELL Accredited Professional, or Guiding Principles Compliance Professional

NCARB-Certified

Experience with state and local government projects

Experience with aviation facility projects is a plus
