About Us: Mayers Electric Company in its 76th year and one of the largest local electrical industrial/commercial/institutional contractors.
Job Description: As an Electrical Estimator/Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in our project lifecycle. You will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing detailed proposals, and managing projects from inception to completion. Your expertise will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects.
Develop comprehensive project proposals and bid documents.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information.
Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator and/or Project Manager in commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in estimation software and project management tools.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This is a Full Time Salaried position (salary range of $80,000-120,000 based on experience) with excellent .
