Concrete FinisherLocation:Mobile, ALJob Type:Full-TimeCompensation:Competitive pay based on experienceJob Summary:Cypress Employment is seeking a skilled and experiencedConcrete Finisherto join our clients' construction team in the Mobile, Alabama area. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of concrete placement, finishing, and repair techniques, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. This is a hands-on position involving outdoor work in varying weather conditions.Responsibilities:- Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete (such as floors, sidewalks, curbs, and gutters) using a variety of hand and power tools- Set forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth- Apply curing compounds to concrete surfaces- Monitor the effects of weather and temperature on the curing process- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans- Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to project specifications- Repair and patch existing concrete structures- Operate power trowels, screeds, floats, and other finishing tools- Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and compliant with OSHA regulationsQualifications:- Minimum of 2 years experience as a concrete finisher (required)- Familiarity with various types of concrete finishes (broom, exposed aggregate, stamped, etc.)- Ability to read construction drawings and follow verbal instructions- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks- Reliable transportation to job sites in the Mobile area- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred- Valid drivers license (preferred)Benefits:- Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)- Overtime opportunities- Health insurance optionsSchedule:- Monday to Friday- Occasional weekends depending on project deadlines- Day shiftHow to Apply:Please submit your resume and contact information.
