Mechanical Technician**
**Job Description**
+ We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to work in a dynamic machine shop environment. You will be responsible for repairing overhead cranes and machines using hydraulic jacking equipment, pneumatic impact tools, and hydraulic torque wrenches.
+ This role includes operating forklifts, bridge cranes, and rigging for cranes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Provide repairs on overhead cranes and machines using appropriate tools and equipment.
+ Operate forklifts, bridge cranes, and perform rigging for cranes.
+ Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
+ Perform preventive maintenance and industrial maintenance tasks.
+ Utilize welding, blueprint reading, and mechanical skills for various repair tasks.
+ Ensure a clean and safe workplace by performing housekeeping duties.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with troubleshooting, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
+ Proficiency in welding and blueprint reading.
+ Ability to perform maintenance and repair on industrial equipment.
+ Knowledge of power tools and pneumatics.
+ Familiarity with overhead crane operations.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to operate a Band Saw and other equipment safely.
+ Strong communication skills to interact with supervisors and co-workers.
+ Experience in a team-oriented environment.
