**Job Description**
Join a dynamic team in Beloit, WI, specializing in the welding and fabrication of steel components. Our expansive 105,000 sq ft facility focuses on creating essential products for the data center industry, including switchgear sub bases, electrical enclosure assemblies, and fuel tanks for power generation.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up, operate, and edit programs on fabrication equipment, primarily brake press, and occasionally other machinery such as laser, saws, and drill presses.
+ Utilize micrometers, calipers, and tape measures to ensure precise measurements.
+ Work from blueprints to guide the fabrication process.
+ Conduct quality inspections of parts to maintain high standards.
+ Perform loading and unloading tasks.
+ Conduct preventive maintenance on the machinery.
+ Handle heavier steel and gauge materials.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in fabrication techniques.
+ Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure.
+ Experience with MIG welding on mild steel, including flux core and structural steel.
+ Skill in fitting and assembly.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in MIG welding.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ At least 3 years of experience reading blueprints.
+ Experience in using various measuring tools.
