You must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
No C2C or 3rd parties, please.
Are you an Electrical Engineer who knows their stuff and can confidently oversee others? We're looking for someone who can manage 3rd party design firms on major capital projects-someone who gets power supply for compressor stations and is ready to roll up their sleeves and lead by expertise.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll take charge of the electrical and controls design for large-scale compressor station projects (think 10,000-30,000 HP turbines and motors). You'll ensure designs meet NEC requirements and are up to spec, on budget, and on time.
You'll work cross-functionally with operations, project management, and shared services while reviewing engineering deliverables, providing technical evaluations, and supporting construction and commissioning.
What You Need to Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
7+ years of experience (but we'll consider go-getters with less)
Hands-on knowledge of:
- 120V to 4160V systems-power panels, MCCs, relays, motors, grounding, and more
- Controls like PLCs (Allen-Bradley or equivalent), Wonderware, ESD, PID loops
- Instrumentation-smart/analog transmitters, RTDs, gauges, flame/gas detection
Confidence in overseeing engineering consultants and vendors
Strong communication and coordination skills
Nice to Have:
- PE License
- Experience in Hazardous Classified Areas
- Background in compressor station electrical systems
Working Conditions:
- Primarily office-based with occasional overnight field visits (PPE provided)
- OT may be needed during critical phases
- Fast-paced, highly visible work-multitaskers and calm-under-pressure types will thrive
