Currently seeking a skilled experienced Industrial Electrician.
Full Time Direct Hire Opening for a well-established Local Food Processing Company who is offering excellent benefits and a unique company culture.
Ability to work 2nd and/or 3rd shift
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and code specifications to determine lay-out of industrial equipment and installations
+ Conduct planned preventive & predictive maintenance and keep maintenance records
+ Actively participate in preventive maintenance program on building equipment processing equipment daily
+ Efficient production equipment set up, inspection and shutdown of all related equipment when required, including process changeovers
+ Assist in planning, organizing of work activities (drawing interpretation, parts preparation)
+ Program, troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial equipment and automation including PLCs, HMI, frequency drives, temperature control and other related devices

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associate Degree in Electronics or Mechanical or equivalent training or work experience
Five years experience in industrial electrical role, preferably in the food production industry
Experience reading and understanding blueprints, schematics and related manuals
Experience in a food safety and be familiar with GMPs and HACCP.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent written and oral communications
Able be flexible with work schedule and work nights and weekends if necessary Able to diagnose and solve mechanical problems and develop solution that is cost effective and safe.
Able to read, understand and interpret blueprints, schematics and related manuals
Attention to detail and good organization skills
Adherence to prescribe food safety and quality assurances procedures as well as GMPs
Ability to climb a ladder
