Mechanical Repair Technician - Day Shift Location: Champaign, IL Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour Shift: Day Shift Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Repair Technician in Champaign, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical systems. This position offers competitive pay and a stable day shift schedule. Responsibilities: Perform mechanical repairs on equipment, machinery, and components Diagnose issues and implement effective solutions Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Maintain a clean and safe work environment Collaborate with team members to meet production and maintenance goals Requirements: Previous experience in mechanical repair (minimum 1-2 years preferred) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read technical drawings and schematics Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments Understanding of workplace safety procedures Benefits: Competitive hourly pay ($24.00 - $26.00) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Opportunities for advancement Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
