Transports containers toclosing areas and closes In accordance with specifications, nailing,banding, dust covers, plastic wrap, etc. Transfers containers tore-inspection area, re-inspects glass for defects in accordance withspecifications, removes breakage, does all repairs required to ship thecontainers. Transfers glass to fill out shortages (in isolatedinstances). Operates all Industrial trucks (fork trucks} containers toand from lines, shipping. Changes propane tanks, plugs In non-operatingbattery trucks, water hookup, etc. Loads containers on launchingdevices. Places and assists in positioning empties on turnaround,shuttles, with minimal downtime. Assists glass processing occupation asnecessary. Some examples may be removing breakage and helping with thestack of glass. Cuts and packages material as needs when prepping orclosing containers. Cuts and fabricates parts for replacement of damagedor improperly built containers. Page l of Picks up and delivers damagedunits. Reprocesses units which do not conform to shipping standards byadding or replacing banding, making minor repairs and replacing lightsas needed. Unloads incoming trucks (cardboard,50\' boxes, Styrofoam,plastic wrap, empty containers.) and delivers to proper storage areas.Cuts paper and cardboard as needed. Wipes off inspection marks andassists as needed. Assists glass processing occupation In removingbreakage from containers/rework. Operates cut to length machine. Emptiescullet and waste hoppers. Records container audit Information and otherdata as required to meet out-going quality. Assembly of steel racks.Assists GMMS In making emergency and/or routine repairs and will performtasks which do not require GMM skills. Maintains good housekeeping indesignated areas. Observes all Fuyao environmental policies and performsthe job in a manner that minimizes impart to the environment. Observesall safety and housekeeping responsibilities. Communicates,, cooperatesand coordinates with other personnel. Assists as necessary Inemergencies and performs other related duties as directed bysupervision.
