Entry Level Welder and Fabricator Job Description This entry-level position is for a 1st Shift Welder and Fabricator who will primarily use MIG welding techniques on components such as handrails and guard rails for new construction projects. The role will mainly be based in the shop, but may occasionally require travel to on-site construction jobs. While the primary duty is welding, you will be expected to assist with other tasks such as operating fabrication machinery, grinding, and forklift operations. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on construction components such as handrails and guard rails. Assist with operating fabrication machinery as needed. Engage in grinding and finishing tasks. Operate forklifts and ensure safe handling of materials. Read and interpret blueprints accurately. Essential Skills Proficiency in MIG welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with grinding and finishing. Forklift certification. Familiarity with stainless steel fabrication. Why Work Here?
