Construction Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Construction Manager for a Contract job with a client in Boydton, VA. The Construction Manager will oversee all phases of project delivery, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule goals are met. Proven leadership in managing complex data center construction is required. Rate Range: $83/hour to $85/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Construction Manager job responsibilities include: Overseeing all phases of construction projects from planning to completion. Managing project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery. Coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and consultants. Enforcing safety and quality standards on-site. Conducting inspections to verify compliance with project specifications. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 10+ years of relevant construction management experience. PMI or PMP certification preferred. Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Visio, etc.). Strong knowledge of design, cost control, scheduling, and quality assurance processes. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Commitment to enforcing safety and compliance standards on all projects.
