Maintenance Mechanic (2nd shift)

Seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd shift to perform general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Requirements: Maintain and repair production machines and plant facility equipment.

Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.

Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.

Perform regular preventative maintenance including some HVAC tasks.

Conduct basic plumbing, electrical maintenance, and carpentry functions.

Use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, material handling equipment.

Assist with snow removal in winter.

Comply with EPA, Hazmat, OSHA safety rules; maintain clean work areas.

Preferred Skills: Mechanical inclination; familiarity with PLC diagnostics.

Knowledge of electronic controls; experience with industrial equipment operation.

Ability to multitask; attention to detail; minimal supervision required.

Responsibilities: Implement preventative maintenance measures.

Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.

Complete facility inspections; respond quickly in emergencies following protocols.
