Position Overview

A well-established company in Idaho is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to join its team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and long-term career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on heavy-duty mining equipment.

+ Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, and other mechanical components.

+ Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues.

+ Operate and maintain a variety of equipment including haul trucks, dozers, graders, tractors, forklifts, and light-duty vehicles.

+ Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including suspension and steering components.

Qualifications and Experience

+ Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and repair techniques.

+ Proven ability to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.

+ Prior experience with heavy equipment maintenance is highly preferred.

+ Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems is advantageous.

+ Associate degree or certification in Diesel or Automotive Technology is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 $83200.00/yr.
