Machine Operator**

**Job Description**

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating molding, machining, casting, and other manufacturing machines. You will rotate between various machines and processes, ensuring efficient operation and product quality. Your duties will include placing proper inserts on mold tables, filling and packing boxes with sand, and conducting visual inspections of parts to identify any flaws or defects. You will also be responsible for stacking and palletizing products for quality control, and may occasionally operate a forklift. The role requires careful machine operation with a focus on quality control, and you should be able to work independently while processing products for casting.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate molding, machining, casting, and other manufacturing machines

+ Rotate between various machines and processes

+ Place proper inserts on mold tables

+ Fill and pack boxes with sand in a warm environment

+ Use hand tools to remove mold and trim flash from parts according to work orders

+ Conduct visual inspection of parts for any flaws or defects

+ Stack and palletize products for quality control

+ Lift up to 100 lbs throughout the course of the day

+ Occasionally operate a forklift

+ Maintain quality control with careful machine operation

+ Work independently to process products for casting

**Essential Skills**

+ Machine operation experience

+ Proficiency with hand tools and power tools

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints

+ Experience in production, manufacturing, and assembly

+ General labor and material handling skills

+ Capability to lift up to 100 lbs

+ 12 months of machine operation experience or related

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with pneumatic tools, fabrication, and heavy-duty equipment

+ Skills in concrete, carpentry, and construction

+ Skid steer operation experience

+ Ability to work in an open production environment

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
