Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to lead our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be proficient in overseeing projects from inception to completion. This role requires excellent leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and safety regulations. The Lead Carpenter will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Installing window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim, Wall and roof framing, custom wood work, hardie-lap siding, Decks
Lead a team of carpenters on construction projects
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Supervise and manage daily operations of the construction site, ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently.
Oversee project scheduling, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Read and interpret blueprints, ensuring that all work is executed according to specifications. .
Train and mentor team members in best practices for carpentry and construction management.
Maintain accurate records of project expenses, labor hours, and material usage for budgeting purposes.
Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly to minimize disruptions to the project timeline.
Qualifications
Proven experience in carpentry with a strong understanding of construction management principles.
Strong skills in project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, and supervising teams effectively.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

Must have a strong work ethic and take pride in all work.
The ability to work efficiently without wasting materials and possessing reliable transportation and tools.
Must understand complex framing and finish details within residential construction, wood framing, cabinetry, casework
Must possess sufficient visual acuity to read building codes, blueprints, and drawings.
