Heavy Civil Estimator/Project Manager

South End General Contractor seeking estimator / manager for Public Works Projects that include Street Construction, Sewer, Water Main, Some Demolition. We also bid private projects that include the listed items above but are selective on whom we bid to.

- Prepare detailed estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs
- Analyze project specifications and blueprints to accurately estimate project costs
- Utilize software such as Bluebeam and Heavy Bid for estimating purposes
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to develop accurate bid proposals
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as HCSS plans and HeavyBid
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong relationships with subcontractors
- Familiarity with project management practices and cost control methods
