Journeyman Electrician Job Description We are seeking Journeyman Electricians to join our team in an industrial setting in Rumford, ME. The role demands a strong commitment to jobsite safety, reliability, and the ability to work in physically demanding conditions. Responsibilities Prioritize safety and adhere to all safety protocols. Ensure dependability and punctuality within the standard 40-hour workweek, with flexibility to extend to 50 hours when needed, including night and weekend shifts. Work 10-hour shifts while standing and walking on concrete floors for extended durations. Work from heights and elevated platforms, including climbing and working from ladders. Lift up to 50 pounds as required. Essential Skills Proficient in electrical, construction, and industrial electrical tasks. Skilled in wiring, conduit bending, pulling wire, and control panel wiring. Ability to troubleshoot and install various electrical components and systems. Experience with cable installation and maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Maine Journeyman or Master electrician licensing. 5+ years of commercial and industrial experience, with supervisory experience as a plus. Technical proficiency in bending and installing EMT and Rigid conduit of all sizes. Ability to pull wire and wire distribution panels, Motor Control Centers, electrical disconnects, and motors. Capability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Self-motivation and ability to operate aerial lifts and scissor lifts. Why Work Here?
