Forklift Operator - Day Shift**

**Responsibilities**
+ Operate a forklift to load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
+ Sort and label freight according to size and destination.
+ Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite freight movement and tracing processes.
+ Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests.
+ Label, weigh, and dimensionalization of freight.
+ Perform cleanup activities to maintain safety and cleanliness of the dock.
+ Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on reports.
**Essential Skills**
+ Forklift experience required.
+ Packing, inventory, production, loading, material handling, pallet jack operation.
+ Experience with lifting repetitively and working in a fast-paced environment.
+ Warehouse experience.
+ Order picking and using RF scanners.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ 0-2 years of experience preferred.
+ Good interpersonal skills required.

**Work Environment**
The role involves working a day shift with a rotating schedule from 6am to 6pm. The schedule starts from Sunday to Wednesday, with days off from Thursday to Saturday, and then returns from Sunday to Tuesday with Wednesday off. This is an entry-level position in a fast-paced warehouse environment, where safety and teamwork are emphasized. Protective gear is provided to ensure a safe working environment.
