Travel per policy/jobsite. Essential Functions: Foster the growth of an Injury and Incident Free Environment by providing leadership and mentoring of associates.Conduct on-site inspections of construction projects and maintenance facilities to ensure compliance with established company, federal and state safety standards.Assist in the identification, control, and elimination of unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.Investigate incidents to determine root cause and implement corrective actions.Assist with the delivery of safety training.Coordinate and conduct industrial hygiene monitoring for chemical and physical hazards. Prepare written safety-related reports.Participate in pre-construction meetings and planning activities. Assist with recordkeeping and safety metrics.Education & Training: BS degree in Safety Sciences or equivalent.ASP, GSP, CSP or similar certification preferred, but not requiredOSHA Construction Outreach TrainerCPR, AED and First AidExperience:Minimum ten (10) years of construction industry experience.Three (3) years construction safety experience. Knowledge and Abilities:Working knowledge of safety standards including OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and 1910, EM 385, DOT, EPA.Strong technical skills are essential. Microsoft Word and Excel.
