Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator

**Essential Job Duties and Responsib**

- Ability to communicate effectively

- Ability to operate heavy equipment, safely

- Can operate equipment such as: dozers, excavators and trucks

- General construction knowledge

- Knowledge of slips, drainage, grading and equipment maintenance

**Experience**

- Previous experience with site preparations, clearing & grubbing, earthen construction, surface excavations, required

- Coal impoundment experience, preferred

- Surface, no underground experience is needed

- Highly skilled heavy equipment operator

- Highly skilled with track driven bulldozers and track driven excavator

**Job Requirements**

- Must be 18 years of age

- High School Diploma or GED, preferred

- Reliable transportation

- Class A CDL License

- Valid driver's license

- Regular and punctual attendance

- Compliance with company policies, procedures and safety standard

- MSHA Certification (training available if needed)

- Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test and background check

- Must be able to successfully complete industry approved training courses

- Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently

- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship

**Job Schedule and Physical Demands**

- Must be able to work 8--9-hour workdays Monday -- Friday with possible overtime, weekends and holidays as needed or as schedule requires (subject to applicant's religious practices)

- Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule on a 24/7 basis (subject to the applicant's religious practices)

- Ability/willingness to work different shifts when assigned

- Ability to work in a physically demanding atmosphere when needed

- Ability to perform heavy labor and lift 50+ pounds as needed
