Seeking a Superintendent for our Wausau location for a General Contractor in ground up construction.
OPPORTUNITIES
- Project Leadership: Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities in alignment with project documents, ensuring high-quality standards and timely
delivery.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and enforce both short- and long-term project schedules. Coordinate subcontractor labor, site logistics, and material deliveries to maintain a clear and efficient workflow.
- Communication & Documentation: Maintain seamless communication with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders. Manage RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes, and lead regular project meetings.
- Quality & Compliance: Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance. Drive the successful completion of punch lists and quality control processes.
- Safety Leadership
Solving & Outreach: Ability to anticipate and identify potential issues and provide solutions.
- Cross-Department
Collaboration: Work closely with multiple departments, demonstrating resourcefulness and a team-first mindset.
EDUCATION
- Educational Background: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with journeyman level trade experience, Foreman experience is preferred, or a technical certificate or engineering degree from an accredited college; and
- Experience: 5+ years managing large-scale construction projects as a site superintendent.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Deep knowledge of construction methods and the ability to visualize the end product from the start.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.40 - $48.07/hr.
