Job Description

We seek a seasoned and proactive Superintendent to lead on-site construction operations for ground-up and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will manage field execution, ensure safety compliance, maintain schedules, and deliver exceptional quality in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of construction from mobilization through final punch list and closeout.
- Direct and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules; proactively identify and resolve delays or conflicts.
- Enforce high standards of workmanship and ensure compliance with project specifications and design documents.
- Promote and enforce a culture of safety; conduct regular site inspections and toolbox talks in accordance with OSHA and company policies.
- Serve as the primary on-site liaison between project managers, architects, engineers, and ownership teams.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, RFIs, submittals, inspection reports, and progress photos.
- Anticipate and resolve field issues in real-time, escalating when necessary to avoid project disruption.
Essential Skills
- Experience as a Superintendent or similar role in commercial or multifamily construction.
- Proven experience with podium construction (Type V over Type I) and urban infill projects is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction sequencing.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, PlanGrid, or Bluebeam.
- OSHA 30 certification required; First Aid/CPR preferred.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical documents.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with project types such as Historic Rehabilitation, Multifamily Housing, Office and Commercial, Transit Oriented Development, and Urban Redevelopment.
- Familiarity with construction management tools like Primavera, MS Project.
- Experience with contractor oversight, RFI, submittals, punch list, and closeouts.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
