Concrete finishers

Platinum Concrete Inc. is looking to hire Concrete finishers
Greater Vancouver area, BC.

Wage: $35.00 per hour + health and dental benefits
Permanent, full-time position.

Education: Secondary school

Skills requirements:
-1-2 years of work experience in the trade or completion of an apprenticeship program;
-Good English.

Main duties:
-Setting and aligning forms to hold the concrete in place; cleaning and inspecting surfaces for concrete pouring;
-Directing the casting of the concrete;
-Operating power vibrator to ensure the concrete is compacted;
-Spreading, leveling and smoothing concrete surfaces according to grade and depth specifications;
-Installing fixtures in the freshly poured concrete as per blueprints and specifications;
-Applying sealing, hardening and waterproofing components to treat the concrete surfaces;
-Repairing or replacing damaged sections of concrete structures, such as floors, walls, roads, etc.
