A Day in the Life
This role supports the Structural Heart (SH) Professional Relations & Services Team, responsible for health care professionals (HCP); physician medical education proctoring, advisory services, physician relations, HCP operations, and society relations in a fast-growing and dynamic business.

This is a key role that serves as the information expert for the area and the "glue" to keep the team and its programs running smoothly. It offers strong team interaction to assist in team operations and program execution for the Professional Relations & Services Teams, aiding in the development and implementation of systems and processes that support the SH team. The role also offers interactions with high-level contacts such as senior leadership, physicians and hospital personnel and has responsibility for scheduling, correspondence and mailings, and invoicing transactions. The role will be exposed to sensitive/confidential information requiring considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment.
This role will report to the Sr. Director, SH Professional Relations & Services, and will support a dynamic and high energy Professional Relations team.
A Day in the Life
Responsible for compliance data entry for Professional Relations programs events and medical education training programs where needed
Manage external invoicing, review, and process vendor payments
Financial updates and tracking, keeping current for managers
Performs a wide variety of non-routine clerical and administrative tasks and may support special projects or assignments.
Makes minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area, expected to independently propose solutions to problems for manager review.
Support new hire interview process in terms of candidate communication and coordination
Manage new hire on-boarding process, including project manage any needs for new hires including new computer and mobile device ordering, setting up cube and facility needs, scheduling on-boarding meetings as needed per the hiring manager and any other needs
Coordinate various projects for the SH Professional Relations team, including internet/intranet research, setting up files and managing general department supplies and inventory
Project manage facilities coordination for team cube moves and any communications to the team surrounding this project
Ensure computers, iPads, mobile phones are ordered and/or updated for the team as needed
Schedule leadership and team staff meetings, including off-site team meeting coordination and communication, advancing meetings, basic audio-visual understanding to run meetings with virtual attendees including sound, sharing screens, running slides
Support HCP programs as needed, may include booking travel for faculty or customers, entering data related to compliance and/or transfer of value tracking, reimbursement management, and other related duties
Manage calendar, travel, and expense reporting for Sr. Director, Director, Sr. Manager-level employees on Professional Relations team
Support Professional Relations leadership team travel needs
Responsible for any miscellaneous non-program related shipping
Provide email & phone support - when team is traveling
Conduct other duties and projects as assigned
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
High School Degree or equivalent
Minimum of 6 years of administrative, leader support experience
Nice to Have:
Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Outlook and video/audio conferencing software
Bachelor's Degree
Medtronic Administrative experience

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$62,400.00 - $93,600.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
