Network Operations Manager

Kforce has a client in Lake Forest, IL that is seeking a Network Operations Manager.

Duties:

• Leads daily operations and service delivery for enterprise-wide network infrastructure, including WAN, LAN, WLAN, NAC, firewalls, and voice systems
• Oversee managed service providers, support vendor performance, and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on network initiatives
• Oversee day-to-day operations of enterprise network infrastructure
• Manage MSP relationships, SLAs, and vendor performance
• Lead issue management, root cause analysis, and resolution planning
• Maintain network documentation, SOPs, and operational metrics
• Support lifecycle management of network equipment and services
• Review and approve project requests and network-related changes
• Participate in design and evaluation of new network solutions
• Ensure solutions align with operational support capabilities
• Provide data analysis to identify trends and improve performance* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in IT, with strong experience in enterprise network operations
• Prior experience managing network services through MSPs
• Hands-on knowledge of Aruba or equivalent network technologies
• Familiar with traffic engineering, alert monitoring, and performance tools
• Experience with vendor contracts and SLA governance
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Willingness to travel up to 5%

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry certifications in networking (e.g., CCNP, Aruba, AWS, Azure)
• Cloud networking experience is a plus
