Position Overview:

Become a member of the Perimeter Solutions fabrication and welding team with the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of equipment manufacturing from specialized firefighting equipment to pressure vessels. Perimeter Solutions uses a wide range of welding styles including multiple processes with Aluminum and Steel.

Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Reading Shop prints and able to fabricate to reasonable tolerances.
• Work with a detailed Quality program and able to complete all paperwork after training is completed.
• Keep work area clean and organized and set a high standard for the importance of this.
• Fabrication and tack up of projects to drawing specifications.
• Complete weld out to the specifications of projects solo or as a team

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• High School Diploma
• Work well with others on the team
• Keep an open mind and always interested to try new things and complete any task associated with project.
• Good communication with team and supervisor
• Able to lift and complete all tasks in accordance with the position.
• Attention to detail with every task
• Comply with all Safety policies
• Capable of passing an FCAW weld test _ vertical up
• Schooling or training in welding and fabrication (reasonable amount of on-the-job training is acceptable)
• Timely with arrival to work and throughout all projects and tasks.
• Comfortable logging time, specific to tasks utilizing an electronic system.
• Experience with Pressure Vessels and working in compliance with the ASME code. (preferred)
• Weld Certifications of any kind (preferred)
• Experience with Aluminum welding (preferred)
• Welding experience with the SAW process (preferred)
• Leading others to achieve a goal or complete a project (preferred)
• Welding Robot Programming (preferred)
• Comfortable following weld procedures (preferred)
