FABRICATOR ENTRY LEVEL

Location: 3817 Smith Ave, Everett, WA

Hours: Mon.-Thurs. 3:20pm-1:50am

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 DOE

Requirements

+ Operate punch and brake-form presses.

+ Cut and shear raw materials.

+ Deburr parts using pencil grinders and other hand tools.

+ Use calipers and other inspection equipment to check and maintain part quality.

+ Apply fabrication best practices.

+ Communicate effectively when asking questions or getting directions.

Physical Job Requirements

As required to fulfill the requirements of this job:

+ Stand consistently for up to 8 hours.

+ Frequently walk throughout the shop and climb stairs as needed.

+ Have normal or correctable hearing and effectively participate in conversations on the shop floor while in low to moderate noise areas.

+ Have correctable vision to 20-20 and able to perform continuous visual inspection of work in process. This frequent requires that employees effectively read drawings and documents in print or on computer screens.

+ Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs. either individually or with assistance.

+ Frequently use wrists, grasp, or do fine manipulation with fingers.

Minimum Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent GED certificate of completion.

+ Prior work experience in manual manufacturing.

Desirable Qualifications

+ Prior work experience in a high-volume or aerospace assembly or shipping environment.

+ Formal training in aerospace assembly, such as a WATR Center certificate and community college certificates.

+ Prior experience with drawings and/or work instructions.
