Construction Lead Full time, Pay $35/HR DOE Responsibilities A construction leadman is a skilled craftsperson who leads and supervises a crew, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards. Assign tasks, allocate resources, and monitor progress to meet project milestones Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are on site and available with needed Inspect work to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards Enforce safety regulations, conduct safety meetings. And address potential hazards Communicate effectively with foreman, superintendents, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and coordination Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent Train new members to improve their skills Identify and resolve issues that arise during the construction process May be involved in tasks such as timesheet submission, material requisitions, and other paperwork May require interacting with clients, public, requiring strong customer service skills Qualifications Proficiency in construction trades and the ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications Ability to motivate and direct a team, delegate tasks, and ensure accountability Ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other trades Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during construction Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions Experience in customer framing and building
